"Giant stuffed moose and some guy with a creepy smile," Adam replied instinctively and shook Robin's hand. It was amusing how even centuries in hell couldn't beat the lectures of his early childhood out of him. Be polite. Say 'please' and 'thank you'. Silly things like that.
"I'm Adam." He smiled, another instinctive polite reaction, then bit his bottom lip nervously. "Yeah, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but...are you human? I'm just checking, you know? I had a bit of a creature-problem lately." He tilted his head to one side and studied the man in front of him thoughtfully. Clothes, bow, Robin. Then it hit him.
"You're an actor, aren't you? I've stumbled into some sort of re-enactment of Robin Hood? Good props, man. Very convincing bow and all that."
