Lily bit down on her lip gently, still looking out the window. It was true, actually, her family--save for one--successfully thought that she hated Scorpius more than anyone else. Even her best friend believed that. She had everyone fooled and she could keep doing it, but that was easier when Scorpius wasn't acting... strange. She knew it had to be the alcohol but it almost seemed like he liked her.
"I guess so," Lily replied. Harry had actually been in her cabin and it hadn't been so bad. She'd also had to deal with a similar issue with her dad dating someone that was all wrong, but he hadn't been around long enough for it to gross her out as much as Uncle Bill and Aunt Hestia had done for their kids.
"I know it's weird to have your dad suddenly so young. My dad was 15 the first time he came and 17 the second time. I didn't know what I could say to him or how he would react to anything." She turned her head to look at him again, which immediately proved to be a mistake. The way he was gazing so intently into her eyes and his words... get to know her, how? Yet she couldn't tear her eyes away from him. "Wh-what do you mean?" she asked him finally. Lily Potter was never at a loss for words, but now she didn't have any idea what to say, or do.
