"Thanks," Draco said with a smile and great pride. His only regret was that now, he had never seen his son grow from an infant to adulthood. He was sure Scorpius may have stories to tell from his life. There was still so much to learn of his future. But his worst fear was done away with. To hear that he is and will be a great father took a great weight off of him now.
He nodded in recognition at the SPEW reference. He did recall hearing of it in school. Draco was not surprised that Hermione was successful in that way. He sighed, nodding in agreement about rivalries. "I hate that too. People can also be hypocritical as well. Anything they do is alright because they're Gryffindors, but we can be shunned for doing the same. And the prejudice may subside, I can imagine.. though not fully. I think there will always be a bad rep for us and our house. I know I wasn't perfect. But I also think that no matter how many times I try to do right or change for the better, that it'll be hard to look past my name and house colors. It's mostly due to Voldemort that our house is reviled. But you know what I heard, Harry was almost put in Slytherin once. Plus Wormtail was a cowardly Gryff that served Him, and we don't hear any negative sentiments about his house."
