"I'm not stringing them along," Jeremy said defensively, frowning. Sure, Vicki had kissed him, and for a moment he'd kissed her back, but apart from that, he hadn't exactly said there would be anything romantic with either of them. He loved hanging out with Anna but he'd been careful to keep it purely friendly, and he hadn't seen that much of Vicki. He had feelings for both of them, and Bonnie, but it was more important to him that they were both happy and alive. He sighed, looking down. "I'm not trying to string them along," he said, sounding tired. He'd had this conversation with himself in his head so many time. "Anyway, how am I supposed to choose? They're so different..." He felt a little weird about having this conversation with Ric - he was his teacher and sometimes father figure - but he was relieved about having someone to talk to about it all.
