Jeremy considered what Ric said before nodding slightly. It did make sense to have someone keeping an eye on Isobel. From what Elena had told him, she'd been a hard person to track down. They didn't want her sneaking around on them here too. "Yeah, I guess so," he said, although he didn't sound completely convinced. Still, Ric had a ring, just like his. If anything did go wrong, hopefully Ric would come out of it unharmed. No matter what promises Isobel had been throwing around, he didn't trust her one little bit.
"Mmhm," Jeremy mumbled, his head falling foward slightly. It had been so hard. Even though Damon had taken away his memory of Vicki's death, when he'd found out he'd been completely devastated. It had been bad enough when he'd thought she'd just left town, but he'd hoped he'd be able to see her again. He didn't think it would be as a corpse. And Anna's death hadn't been any easier. He knew now just who was responsible, and it made him sick that his own Uncle could be so cruel. He might have been beginning to fall for Anna, and John had known that, but he didn't care. Jeremy took a deep breath. "I'm just glad they're okay here," he said, trying to shrug it off.
