Isobel was glad to know that she wasn't the only one in shock, but she still intended to pretend that his appearance hadn't phased her. After all, she was supposed to have no feelings for her husband anymore, right? That was what she'd led him to believe anyway, right before coming here. Even when she was honest, she couldn't let him remember it. It wouldn't be fair to him.
It unsettled her to know that there was a tv show and that Elena had seen Isobel's confession and subsequent compulsion on it. Now that Alaric was here, there was a high risk of someone telling him about it. Elena wouldn't, Isobel was sure of that. It was too important to her to keep Isobel from hurting Stefan or Damon, she'd keep her end of the deal. But how was that to stop anyone else from their... show, or even the guests. Elena told her that the guests liked to mention it too. Apparently, they were there to entertain them.
