Johan waited until Crowley got into bed before settling down. He walked from one side of the bed to the other and then, after a minute, settled down at the foot of the bed, resting his massive head on Anna's feet. Things were calm and nobody was upset and he didn't seem to be on guard dog duty anymore. He looked as calm as Anna felt.
She tucked her arms up under the pillow, letting her eyes fall shut. She stayed on her side, letting her baby bump rest on the mattress. With Crowley behind her, Anna wasn't really sure where they were going from here. When her wings had been torn off, he never got into bed with her. When they'd been sleeping together, he only stayed in bed with her afterward if she'd exhausted him. But he was there now and she hadn't even needed to say anything. So maybe it was going to be okay.
