Teddy couldn't help but smile as he saw Vic behind the opening door. Merlin, he'd missed her! "I didn't want to intrude," he said simply. He didn't really feel as if he was welcome here any more. Perhaps that would change. He really hoped it would change.
"How you doing?" he asked, the genuine concern obvious in his voice. He was used to seeing her every day, knowing how she was, being able to check she was alright. He'd been worried about her, not just for the sake of their relationship.
She was blocking the doorway, and he was worried she'd changed her mind about inviting him over after all. He wouldn't really blame her. He'd been defensive about the whole situation at first, but he had been in the wrong. Lily was her family, and he knew what he'd done was unexcusable. They'd known it was wrong straight away; that was the reason they hadn't told anyone. Nodding towards the inside of the cabin, he tilted his head slightly. "You want me to come in?"
