Damien watched as Jeremy took his seat. He had at least thought of offering about food, but simply nodded when the man expressed he only wanted coffee, along with the need to leave a cabin. "Alright, that's okay. I have wanted to leave mine sometimes as well." He had the impression that a conversation of small talk, asking each other's names or jobs, or idle pleasantries probably wasn't on the list of things he was looking for now. Damien liked talking himself, but he wouldn't push for it if the other party just wanted to sit with a drink. So instead he had nodded in silent agreement and went back to eating his food. The chicken was mostly done so that left potatoes and fries. It was quite good, if he said so himself. He glanced out the window again before turning back to his mug to take another drink of coffee. It was then he decided that his coffee tasted better with sweetness. And so he reached in the center of his table for cream and about four sugars, dropping them into the cup before taking yet another drink from it. He would have to admit that it had a better taste after that. He glanced at his phone by the plate and contemplated who to invite to join him at the club later.
