Jeremy nodded a thanks at the guy as he sat down, glad to put the mug down on the table. He sat diagonally opposite, the least intrusive seat at the table, he hoped. Still the guy seemed to want to talk. Jeremy looked up at him, trying not to raise his eyebrows. "I'm fine," he said, pulling his coffee towards him. "I'm not hungry. Just wanted to get out of the cabin." He wasn't sure why he was talking to this guy. He'd just wanted somewhere to sit, not a full blown conversation. If he'd wanted a nice little chat, he'd have talked to one of his friends. Still, he didn't want to be rude. Like Elena had said, it was stupid to go around pissing people off.
