Jeremy wasn't sure what she was laughing at, but he smiled along with her anyway. She had a lovely laugh. It always seemed to brighten up the room.
He shut the door behind her and immediately the hallway felt warmer. He pushed his hands into his pockets, still smiling at her. "Do you wanna come up to my room?" he asked. "You know... I haven't met my cabin mates yet." He shrugged, feeling vaguely awkward. He didn't want to give her the wrong impression, but at the same time, he didn't really like hanging around down here in the communal areas. He knew he shouls make an effort to introduce himself to the people he was supposed to be living with, but right now that wasn't his main priority.
