It took her a good few minutes to compose herself. She knew he hadn't meant it the way it sounded. She knew he didn't mean to hurt her by saying it. But that didn't mean it didn't hurt. She was't sure she could stand another one of her friends leaving her.
She was determined to be more comfortable now though. She pulled her hair down, and changed into a big comfortable sweatshirt, and a pair of short shorts. Her favorite frumpy socks. She didn't take her makeup off. It had taken to much time to change.
Once she was comfortable she came down the stairs. She took a seat on the couch, not next to him but... Not to far away. "That's a nice choice, start it up."
