WHO: Donna & Rose
WHEN: Monday afternoon
WHERE: the TARDIS
WHAT: Donna arrives accidentally
RATING: pg13 at least for language
The door slammed shut on her. Everyone else was out, walking to their doom. And Donna was stuck. She pulled and tugged and beat on the door. She could hear the Doctor on the other side, he was yelling. And the panic just welled up in her. Why couldn't she get out? Why was she stuck in here? All Donna's screaming, at the Doctor, at the Daleks, at the TARDIS, it was useless. Nothing worked. And when everything started shaking and falling and moving, the panic set in worse than before. Donna couldn't drive the TARDIS, but she sure as hell was going to try. She went to the console, moving around and around and around, hitting buttons and pulling levers and flipping switches, she knocked the doohickeys and pulled the thingamabobs and wiggled the whatsits. And nothing. Nothing nothing nothing!
And then suddenly the whole world shifted a little to the right, every loose item in the TARDIS came flying toward her. She held on for dear life.
And suddenly things were still. Donna let go of the console and landed with a thud on the ground. The TARDIS was clean. And still. And cold! It was cold in here. Not just the controls, like they hadn't just been used or like she hadn't been about to be dumped into a fiery inferno. No, the whole bloody ship was freezing.
Donna jumped to her feet, racing to the door. "Please open! Bloody hell, please open!" She yanked on the handle and the door gave. Ripping it open, Donna yelled out the Doctor's name, about to dart out into wherever she'd landed when she nearly bowled over a short blonde woman. A very familiar short blonde -
"ROSE!"
Okay, so she did bowl her over, reaching out and wrapping her arms around the girl as tightly as she could. Donna was just happy not to be alone and not to be stuck in the TARDIS anymore!
