=============================
Damien Thorn was seemingly quite pleased. He had thoroughly enjoyed those cupcakes Elena had baked. Whether any people helped or how many, he was not certain. But his boss had made perfect brownies before, so he had no question that these would be good as well. And they indeed were very good. But as of this moment, there was another reason why he was smiling. Jack Skellington was back at Ridgeway! The Pumpkin King was back. Someone who had become Damien's best friend, as well as a lover for a time.. though he felt things go a bit sour after Sally came later. Due to how Damien had reacted to the breakup, using his dark methods to keep him, and.. well. Things didn't feel quite right toward the end. But now the situation felt better. They could be friends again, or at least he hoped so. This time he would not push to be more than that in any way, or at least the way that some of the guests knew quite well when it came to Damien. He wouldn't be opposed to such a thing if offered but for now he wished to keep it simple, keep it civil and friendly. He definitely wanted to introduce Jack to Marty sometime, having told his roommate about him at length.
So, he had sent a text an hour ago. Simply wrote that he would be at the Nectar for coffee and that he was welcome to come join him for a cup or two. He was curious about what had happened with Jack when he left.. about fatherhood, marriage, and the like. Damien certainly had some things to talk about. A few interesting things had happened at the resort since then, so he planned to tell him all about it soon. It would at the very least prove to be an interesting story. He had entertained the idea of meeting with Jack in his cabin. But then he decided meting here would be better for a reunion. Of course, he could go to Jack's place next time. But now he had entered the building and allowed them to seat him near the window, and he had mentioned that a second patron might be joining him. The coffee he had then ordered was set in front of him five minutes later. He considered ordering a breakfast sandwich but chose to wait a bit instead. Perhaps he could do that if the Pumpkin King showed up to sit with him, so he waited now. It had certainly been a while so there was a understandably much to catch up on. He looked forward to that.
