Truly Marian didn't want to see anyone, didn't want to do anything but hide in her room. Kate had been fussy and restless all night, perhaps sensing her mother's uneasiness, sensing how upset Marian was.
Still, Marian did have friends here and she couldn't just shut them out as Robin had been so willing to do with his decision to leave. Brushing a stray strand of hair out of her tired eyes, Marian moved slowly to the door, keeping Kate close even as she rocked her lightly.
A slight frown crossed her face at the figure standing outside her door. They hadn't met, true, but Abby especially had babbled on about him. "Gibbs?"
