WHO: Cordy and Open WHEN: Sunday Afternoon WHERE: Outside the cabin WHAT: practice makes perfect
So here it finally was, no visions, no fighting, so sudden attacks. She was on a somewhat 'normal' schedule. Her life was what she used to lament it not being. Normal. Naturally, she bored out of her mind! She somehow felt horribly out of place trying to just play nice at the clubs. She stopped feeling her age long ago. It was hard to relax at a club, dance, relax and keep an eye out for vampires. Which, she just couldn't stop doing. So far the only ones she found were actually pretty decent. Not at all stake worthy at all.
So, hanging out at clubs, not cutting it. No vampires to stake. No lawyers to torment. No visions needing to be taken care of. She was left with paperwork. Which was so totally boring. No reason to let herself go though, right? So changing into a pair of cut off sweat pants and an old T she tied behind her, she put her hair up and headed outside. Okay, it was chilly, she'd warm up soon she was sure. Rubbing at her arms she set aside a bottle of water and grabbed the branch she'd found that she found of a decent balance and about the right length to do some sword practice with.
Pathetic? Oh absolutely. Hopefully there weren't going to be a lot of people around. She'd chosen to work outside, in the back of the cabins hoping that was true. Oh well, at least things like this felt more normal. Taking position she started going through the moves. She'd practiced enough with Angel that the basics were second nature, she didn't even have to think of it.
