Tony had kept half an eye on Brooke, from time to time, throughout the night. Just because she'd said she'd been doing shots with the guests. Or something like that. He was not, he repeated firmly to himself, not at all interested in what he saw. Especially considering the age concerned. He was past all of that. Completely and without question a grown up. Not to mention the nagging issue, or fact (it wasn't an issue) that he was in love with Heather. So, not interested just because she was an attractive girl. Woman, he again corrected himself firmly, with a silent apology to Kate, where ever she was.
Things had been slow tonight, a bit like most nights in this place. Heather wasn't on, so there wasn't a lot to hold his interest. He'd taken to leaning against the wall just inside the door, watching the guests and deciding which of them was going to cause trouble. That wasn't getting him anywhere, however. Deciding it was time to provide himself with a break, he headed over to the bar, spotting his new friend in the process. Just because he could, he made a point of ordering a beer.
