"If I die here, do me a favour and don't raise me from the dead," he laughed. He already knew how things ended for him, if he went back home. The concept of someone bringing you back after you had died was not one he was all that interested in. Unless, of course, he thought it could be used to help Marian, in their own day.
"That's what they tell me," he smirked. He blocked her sword easily enough when she swung it down, knocking it sideways and sweeping his sword toward her exposed side in the process.
