"Who, Harry?" Teddy asked through a yawn. "He was here, but Petersen sent him home a couple of days ago. You just missed him." The coffee machine buzzed, telling Teddy it was ready, and he stood up to start finding mugs and sugar. "You want one?" he asked Ron, over his shoulder.
"Pertersen is powerful, but if he has magic, it's not like ours. I don't really know much about it." Pertersen didn't seem the sort of person to go handing out secrets. "And I dunno why we're all from different times. I thought it had something to do with who the guests wanted, but now I'm not so sure. It's a mystery." He smiled, beginning to pour himself some black coffee into a tall, white mug that Vic usually used. His was dirty.
"Vic's my girlfriend," Teddy said, carefully carrying the mug back to the table before heading back to clear up the spill of coffee he'd left on the sideboard. "She's your niece. Bill's daughter." Teddy grinned at Ron. "She's awesome. You'll love her. And don't worry; she does most of the cooking around her. Your mum taught her well."
