"S'alright," Teddy said with a sleepy grin. "You'll get use to it here. It had taken him a while to get used to the muggle contraptions when he'd arrived, but it hadn't taken long and he loved them now. He didn't know why wizards were so stuck up about it all. Muggles had some awesome gadgets!
Teddy shrugged again, leaning his elbow on the table so his hand could support his cheek. "I'm not that fussed. They were heroes, but I never really knew them, so I can't miss them. They died when I was like a month old." He didn't get touchy about the subject. Sure, they had been killed by dark wizards, like Harry's parents, but they had helped win the war. It sucked that Teddy hadn't had them to bring him up, but the rest of his family had done a pretty alright job in their absence.
"She's usually up and about by the time I crawl out of bed," Teddy said, smirking. That wasn't really surprising seeing as it was rare for Teddy to get out of bed before midday. Especially if Vic was in it with him.
Teddy glanced at Ron's wand and nodded. "To be honest, I can't really be bothered all that much. It's useful for tidying and shit, but there's not a lot I really need it for. Besides, Vic says I need to stop being lazy, and I think that includes using magic to levitate food to me when I can't be bothered to get up..." He was becoming such a muggle but he didn't really care. He kinda liked this world. He had an awesome job, most of his family were here and he had Vic. What more could he want? There was even the prospect of his parents turning up!
