Teddy laughed uncertainly. "Er, hi," he said, running his hands through her hair. "Yeah, Teddy..." He frowned slightly. This was all too much too early in the morning. He headed over to the coffee maker and hit the on switch. Coffee was a necessity in early morning, head frying situations.
"You knew her better than I did then," he said with a shrug. He really didn't remember anything about his mother and father except what people had told him. He kept hoping they might turn up here, but people kept arriving and there was still no sign of them.
Teddy peered in the the frying pan on the stove, his stomach rumbling as the smell of the food wafted under his nose. "No, that's awesome, dude! I'm starving." He always was. "Sorry I didn't notice you were here before," he said, walking back to the table to pull up a chair opposite Ron's. He sat down. "Been a bit preoccupied." He didn't mention that he'd been preoccupied by Ron's niece's bedroom antics. That was probably a conversation for later on. "How old are you, anyway?" he asked, trying to assess from how Ron looked. He looked older than Hermione, but younger than older Harry had been.
