She had been about to, not ask about his issues, but point out that the only things that mattered was what she was seeing in him here, now. But when he changed the subject like he did her mouth simply closed with a snap of her teeth. Now it was her turn to evade. She couldn't look at him at all instead she found a spot on the door incredibly intriguing. She couldn't fight the urge to run her fingers through her hair anymore, pushing her fingers roughly through the upper layer shoving the strands from around her face.
"Oh... You know, sleep..." Okay so not really an answer. It wasn't what she was here to talk about not at all. A frown puckered her brow just a little as she took a retreating step backward. "My hiatus is going well though... The spa is awesome." It was her turn to switch the subject. Only to be followed by yet another backwards step, bringing her to the edge of the porch.
Maybe it would be best to literally cut and run. She wouldn't lie to him. But if she could avoid it that's what she'd do.
