Teddy lifted his hand to stroke her slightly disheveled hair. "That'd teach him," he said with a chuckle. Harry had told him, back in his time, about when Hermione had done that to Ron in their sixth year, then he'd read about it in the books.
"Look," he said sighing, leaning back against the sofa, still holding her close. "He's a kid. You both are, and I know this feels like such a big thing right now, but I can pretty much guaruntee you that he'll be back here later, grovelling and saying he's sorry. I know you're pissed at him, but he's your friend primarily, and I'm sure he wouldn't do anything to hurt you intentionally." He didn't know what could have happened to make Harry stand Hermione up - she looked beautiful - but whatever it was, he was sure it wasn't malicious. That just wasn't Harry's style.
Of course, there was always the possibility that it hadn't been Harry's choice. People disappeared all the time. Vic has disappeared. He hated to think that Harry might be gone, but it was a possibility. "When... was the last time you talked to him?" Teddy asked, trying to sound casual.
