Cas didn't like it when Dean sent him away. It always meant he wanted to do something he didn't want to share, something deep, something often painful. Cas knew Dean had been hiding his feelings a long time before he showed up and, though he was more open now, he still had things to hide.
It wasn't that shocking, everyone needed time alone. Cas did. As much as he trusted them them some aspects of his situation were, and always would be, beyond them. He could only share so much before he stopped making sense or he just didn't wanna explain any more.
So, worried as he was, Cas knew Dean deserved his space. He squeezed Dean's hand back. "Yeah, it's amazing but not the house. You guys are my home, you know that." He took Jo's hand and smiled at her softly. "Come on, let's find the bedrooms."
