He didn't even realise he'd fallen asleep, but he must have, because the next thing he knew the early morning sun streaming through the gaps in the curtains was waking him.
It took him a moment to work out what the warm weight covering him was, and then he remembered, looking down at her, still asleep, head resting on his chest, arm around his waist. He called her gorgeous because she was, but there was something about her when she slept, maybe it was how calm she looked, that he absolutely loved.
