"I'd like us all to have dinner sometime, perhaps we could leave her a note? Try to entice with good food and new friends? I mean we all are trapped here more or less with each other." Cathy shrugged, taking a polite bite of the roast, "This is very good. I'm impressed."
Cathy smiled glad that there was finally someone who understood wealth and somewhat power being taken away so abruptly. She had always been so in control of her life, despite being a female. But here everyone seemed equal, and she could get very used to that aspect. "What did your company do? I had wealth through my family, not as extravagant as others we knew. But, I was to marry well and I would have had much more wealth. But here I am sitting in a cabin and not Wuthering Heights. Which was my home."
Cathy took a break from talking to eat more of the food, hungry after a long day, "I work as a hiking instructor. It's at least something I am passionate for, even if it does mean I have to work for someone."
