"Cool, I'll be there," Bella said, making a mental note before continuing to pick at her salad. She wasn't overly hungry today, but then she wasn't a big eater at the best of times.
"I know," Bella said with a small smile. "It's a mystery to me too." She could see that her life might be more interesting than most, but she didn't know why people actually wanted to read about all the shit she'd been through.
"I don't know," Bella confessed. "I found it easier reading the books where I knew what happened. The ones about my future were just... creepy. At least here I know I don't have to live through them now, and if I ever go home I'll forget all I learned here..." And forget how close she'd let herself get to Jacob. She couldn't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
Internally telling herself off for letting her mind wander to Jacob, she looked back at Harry as she nibbled at a slice of tomato.
"Twilight series," she said, unenthusiastically. She had read them once, and had no desire to read them again. They didn't compare to her memories of the events. "You really don't have to read them, though, although most people here seem to have."
