Bella blushed again at his compliment. Seriously! She was acting like a little girl again, just because some guy out of a book had said he liked her name. How old was he anyway? He looked about twelve, which made her reaction completely unappropriate. "Thanks," she mumbled, looking down at her food as she smiled.
"Yeah, that happens a lot here," she explained, sounding slightly exasperated. She couldn't even count the number of times she'd been asked for her autograph or picture. At least those ones weren't shouting abuse at her, although all of them seemed to have a view about her love life, which was very diconcerting.
Bella took a deep breath before sighing. She wasn't good at the whole explaining about Ridgeway thing, but she seemed to be doing it a lot recently. "You see," she began, trying to plan out what to say. "In this world... we're all fictional. There are stories about us, and the guests are... fans." She shrugged. "You have books and films about you, same as me."
