Bella was immediately mortified at what she had said. She was acting like one of the fans, and not just any fan, but the ones she couldn't stand. Looking embarrassed, she bit her lip. "I'm, er, Bella Swan," she said hesitantly. She wondered if he'd ever heard of her too, but when she thought back to the books, she remembered that in his time in his world, her books hadn't even been written, at least she didn't think they had.
"I work at the hotel," she said after a moment staring, wondering if the mark she could see beneath his fringe was actually his scar, trying to let him know subtly that she wasn't one of the guests. "I'm sorry," she said, shaking her head. "I'm acting like a complete fangirl." He lifted her hands to cover her face for a moment before peaking back at him. "It's just... I've been here for months and I haven't run into anyone as famous as you yet."
