Anna sat up a little when he came back. Toast. She felt like that was the only thing she'd eaten for weeks. Eventually she needed protein or she was going to die of malnutrition. But toast was fine for now. At least she knew she could usually keep toast down. And her stomach didn't feel upset the way it usually did, so that was a plus.
Taking the plate, Anna picked at it for a minute. And then glanced up to see Crowley just staring at her. "You know it's not easy to eat with you watching me like that." It was a little unnerving. Why was he looking at her like that? It went beyond the weirdness of him actually taking care of her. And that was pretty weird in and of itself.
