"Okay, then," Clark said. "It's sort of a journal. There was this human scientist named Virgil Swann, that got messages from space.. actually from my planet before.. you know. And translated most of it to English. So it's sort of like reading my father's book, in a way. I'll bring it along next time."
Clark listened as Harry talked about his past. His family. The hardships, the rough times, as well as the school. "If you'd met my parents.. well, they would have treated you right. I'm sorry you had to go through that. So.. you stopped one of Voldemort's attacks when you were younger? That's impressive. And you had friends too, that can do magic.. that's cool."
He paused then as he was still curious. He had read a couple of the books. But Harry was right here. It was amazing. "I had friends too. Not like me, but I trusted them with my secret about me.. though there was one friend. Some reason, I never told him. Lex. He was that man I mentioned, with rich parents, but the father wasn't good for a while. But after a while.. we drifted, I kept doing my thing, and Lex just kept trying to get answers to the cosmos, and power, doing anything to get it.. wasn't long before we were enemies. Did you know anyone like that at your school? Someone who was friends first, then later you find out they're the bad guy?"
