“I hope so!” Sirius laughed. He could not imagine how boring Hogwarts would be without a few trouble makers?
“Oh I don’t worry about you. I think you are old enough to decide what’s good for you. Hell, you are nearly as old as I am. I just think that you shouldn’t have to do this. You are a kid and you should have a childhood. You should roam the grounds and skid from trouble to trouble. That’s what a childhood is for”, Sirius said. He was getting used to this situation rather fast. It just felt natural to talk to Harry, a bit like talking to James. “Just don’t worry… everyone who gets mad at you, will have to deal with your angry godfather.”
Sirius threw his head into his neck and laughed. God, now Harry sounded more like Remus than James. “Harry, believe me, if pulling pranks would get me into trouble, I would be in a mess I could not get out of.” When Harry sat down on the bed, Sirius did the same. James’ son really did worry too much. Bloody Dursley’s… he never understood how someone as sweet as Lily could be related to them. “Harry, do me a favour and stop worrying”, he said with all honesty and amusement sneaked into his voice. “You can let other people do that for once, you know.”
