"Yeah, you really don't have to worry about dying", Sirius said and was unable to hide the tinge of sadness. Knowing that the kid standing in front of him would witness his death in a year was not something that made this conversation any easier. "And you wouldn't have died, Harry. You heard the others... you don't have to worry about dying."
"There are really nice people here. Elena is a good friend and Heather too. And if you don't want to work here, then just don't. No one can force you." Sirius himself was still not the most consistent worker. If he had better things to do, then why should he bother with work? He had never wanted this job!
Sirius nodded in sympathy. "I don't know, Harry. I really don't know. But maybe I can change it. I know that Peter is a traitor and with this knowledge I will be able to protect James and Lily." He did not know if he said it to convince Harry or himself. Four months... for bloody months he had been here and he had still not made any progress.
