Dominique didn't know of Sirius' dislike of French, but half her family was from France so she spoke it as well as English with no accent in either. In normal company however, she stuck to English unless in France or with her grandmere or grandpere.
When Sirius brought up the prospect of leaving, she frowned. As much as she wanted him to be able to change the future, she didn't want him to go back at all, knowing his fate. And if he could change the future, stay alive, and settle down with some other girl, who would even know if she'd be born? The whole history could change completely. "That should've been something we discussed from the start." She and Elena had spoken about it, but Sirius never brought it up. "Besides, there are women here having children." Two at least that she had seen walking around. "And I'm sodding not leaving this place while you're around," Dominique said angrily, as if she had any control over it whatsoever. She turned around and quickly slipped into her clothes, still angry. It took a lot for her to get this angry. Normally she would just go stew in her room untl she calmed down but now they shared a room. Stewing didn't quite work when the person who you were angry with was right in the room. "How did you not think this before? I don't know if I'm pregnant yet but Merlin, Sirius, I could very well be!"
