"Definitely not a young Ozzie," Oz replied with vague amusement in his tone. He'd definitely been compared to worse, of course. Then again, he wasn't quite sure just how this girl thought she knew him either. She sure seemed insistent about it though. That is, until she answered his question. By the time she'd finished, Oz figured she had moved past her belief that he was someone she had met before. He was pretty sure that wasn't the case as he'd like to think he'd remember someone that was almost as perky as Willow.
He was all poised to make a dry witted comment about potential cross-dressing roommates when she spoke again. Once more his eyebrow rose and he even glanced briefly behind him just in case it wasn't him that she was staring at. She certainly seemed to have seen something, at least.
When there was nothing there but a wall, he turned back to face her. "Nope, not him either," he responded simply. Almost. Had he become his Halloween costume one year later, he would have been. But he hadn't, and that was that.
