Heather loved people, she loved being around them. Young, old, big, little, thin or thick, she simply enjoyed the company. Maybe it was because that was how 'back home' was. She almost hated the fact that she'd been in the house alone, when she'd got there. Sure she lived alone back in Jericho, but she knew everyone around her. Here, she didn't know a single soul. Though she had been trying to be as friendly as she possibly could to everyone and anyone.
And she was absolutely pure to the core human. She couldn't even claim to have a little bit of radiation from the fallout. Which was her excuse for not noticing him, as she made an absolute fool of herself. Once the music was over she ended on the end of the couch. When he broke the silence that usually followed in-between songs, she yelped.
Her face went full on red. It was one thing to get caught singing THAT song while you were drunk, it was a completely different animal to get caught singing it sober. She jumped down off the couch and shut off the surround sound system. "Uh thanks..." What did you say to someone who caught you doing something stupid?
Taking a deep breath she plastered her biggest grin on her face and turned to face the music, so to speak. "Hi!" Back to being perky, and outgoing. Even if she was painted as red as a fire truck. "Oh, your Oz!" She recognized him from the messages.
