Dominique nodded. "When I got here, if I hadn't walked straight into a cabin with Vic and Teddy, I'd probably have been hexing people left and right." It was nice to hear that the boys in Elena's life were trying to be civil to one another. When she heard that they'd put him with Katherine, she shook her head. Fucking Petersen. "I hope he does. Is he a good cook, Stefan?"
When Elena asked her how she'd been doing, Dominique frowned and shrugged. "No worse. Sirius and I aren't fighting, which is good. I don't like fighting with him, especially when he's right, too. Even if I'm right and he's right, and we're both seeing different things, he can't see that." Dom could distance herself ever so slightly from the situation. Her boyfriend? Not so much. "My cousins are acting odd and I don't know why. I'll leave it for Isabella to figure out. The dad thing? Always going to be weird. He and my aunt are acting...really bonkers, too." Her life had just got insanely complicated lately. "I did have a lovely Christmas, though. And got lovely presents. I've a new pet, too! He's not quite as cuddle-able as yours, though."
