Jacob grinned to himself, waiting on Bella to arrive. The time he'd spent in New York, he'd really missed her. He'd looked for her while he was there, but he couldn't find her. Turns out, she wasn't even there. Something he was thankful for once he encountered the monster they battled.
Now he was back here and Bella was safe and sound. Something else he was thankful for. And now she was on her way over. Because she wanted to see him. She'd missed him. He'd be lying if he denied that he couldn't stop smiling at that fact. Maybe there would be hope for that yet. Especially with Cullen not here to interfere.
Hearing an urgent knocking at his cabin door, he moved quickly to it, pulling it open and grabbing the small brunette up in a huge hug. Yeah, he'd missed her.
