Dominique pressed her lips together. She wasn't used to getting yelled at. She was the one who did the scary calm yelling, she didn't do anything wrong. Merlin, she didn't like it at all. Yes, she had repeated it. But she hadn't meant it. "I'm sorry that I was concerned that my boyfriend would get hurt. He's a sodding vampire! I don't think you're weak in the slightest, Sirius. Sometimes I think you have the issue where you act before you think and that's why I worry. Not because I think you'd have an issue bravery-wise or strength-wise with a vampire." When he mentioned that he was still alive after visiting Damon, she couldn't help but look him over for any signs of bruising or the like. But then he was yelling again.
"I didn't bloody know before hand, Sirius! I only found out afterward. No, I don't want her to do it again any more than you do, but yelling at her isn't going to get her to stop!" Dominique was practically raising her own voice at this point. "She didn't lie to be, Sirius." Dominique was convinced that Elena would tell her this time. Perhaps she was naive but once people worked their way into her circle of trust, they were there completely.
