"Yeah, it's possible," he agreed. He'd heard that other people had been sent home then came back, but in a way, he wanted to save her from having to remember everything that had happened with Damien. She might not be with him at home, but she was happy and confident, her old self - the one he loved.
Teddy, turned to face her as she patted his shoulder, laughing slightly. "Yeah. I heard this saying once: If it's not a happy ending, it's not the end." He shrugged. He didn't know if it was true, and life experience hadn't been good too him so far, but he was always willing to believe there was better to come.
"I'll get out of this sooner or later. When she went to Egypt back home, it took me a few weeks to get back to normal, but at least I know she didn't want to leave this time."
