Regulus knew he was probably blowing his injuries out of proportion, but if someone hadn't offered to come over, he knew he probably would have instead ended up either drinking or curling up in the corner by himself for awhile. Though, of course he would never admit that out loud. He was still too proud for that. The knock on the door was a relief, even if he wasn't friends with this Bella girl. Yet. Could they be friends? He wasn't really sure how that worked. He'd never really had any exposure to Muggles like this.
He opened the door, the long sleeves of his dress shirt rolled up to his elbows for the first time since he'd arrived. He'd been trying to cover up his Dark Mark brand, but he didn't want blood on his shirt. There was a long but shallow cut on his left forearm and his lip had been cut, but he'd cleaned his face up already.
"Hello," he offered quietly as he opened the door to Bella and gestured for her to come inside. "Um... Thanks. You know, for coming." Yeah. Regulus Black was totally smooth.
