"Gorgeous, I'm full of good points," he said with a waggle of the eyebrows as he lowered himself to sit at the corner of the blanket beside the one she'd chosen, placing the basket in front of him.
At her question, he opened the top of the basket, first pulling out two champagne flutes and the bottle of bubbles. "First course," he said with a grin, setting the glasses down and passing her the bottle. "If you'd be so kind as to do the honours." Reaching back in to the basket he pulled out the garlic bread, wrapped up in foil to stay hot, and a small plate to set it on, putting it between them. "And second course."
