Jack was nervous. Well it was understandable. Damien was being Damien and that meant things were waiting to be said and possibly this meal could end in disaster. Which wouldn’t be the worst as last holiday Jack had been blown up. What’s the worst that could happen this time? Someone’s head gets shoved up the turkey’s butt? Poor turkey. Jack had finished fixing things as well, his outfit a usual for him as he busied himself with setting the table and trying not to strangle Damien. While the anti-christ found it fun, the skeleton king was at his wits end. Apparently ‘no more’ meant ‘only if you keep trying’ and that was not good. Red hair in usual disarray, he left it alone as he looked over the table one more time before turning to Damien. Granted they had been good friends before Sally came, but now it was starting to get aggravating. The man was using his charm and wit to win his girlfriend over and he didn’t like it. It made him feel like he was living with Oogie Boogie.
Eck.
So before he could try and talk to him about it the door knocked. “Wonderful,” he sighed softly going to the door. He couldn’t help but smile at Sally though. “Hello love,” Jack said with a smile as he pulled her close and gave her a proper kiss. “Hope you brought your appetite,” he said as he kept an arm around her waist and lead her inside further to view the table and all the food that was there.
