Since Teddy's own healing factor had already been kicking in, there was little for Billy's spell to do, but it hurried things along so that the next time Teddy attempted to sit up he made it all the way. "'M fine," he said, not meeting Billy's eyes.
"I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry, Billy, seriously. I really..." He sighed and rubbed at his eyes with one hand halfway to green, a headache that his healing abilities couldn't chase away brewing. "I shouldn't have pushed. But you coulda said no, instead of hitting me with the lightning." He tried a halfhearted smile, but he knew the guilt was leaking through even his usually impressive walls.
