The outdoors might be chilly, but Teddy had a tendency to run hot anyways, and could bump his internal temperature up a few degrees if needed, so he hadn't even bothered to put on a shirt before leaving his cabin. Now, standing in Billy's room, he almost regretted it, slightly self conscious even of his deliberately perfect body.
"No. I've just been...restless." He shrugged away the lie easily. Billy didn't need the added stress of knowing about his nightmares, on top of everything that had happened at home and being trapped. It was better just to keep it to himself. "It's hard to sleep in an unfamiliar place." There was, at least, some truth in that.
Hesitantly, he reached out to lay his hand on the back of Billy's neck and tug him closer, against his bare chest and into his arms. It was a gesture that should have been easy and familiar, but rang with uncertainty now. The wall Teddy had built up around his nightmares was made fragile by exhaustion and felt as if it might break and let everything come flooding out if he moved too suddenly.
