Amara may have just gone shopping with Francesca the other day, social shopping was vastly different from wedding shopping and Merlin knew that Amara still had a ton of shopping to do for the wedding. Flowers, cake, a proper menu (although that was almost set, at least as far as her mother was concerned it was almost set) not to mention the dresses for the rest of her bridesmaids needed to be ordered and there was the matter of the final touches on her own dress - looking at her list gave Amara a sense of ill ease at just how much of it still wasn't done. She and Eris had set a lunch date for sometime next week to discuss everything Amara still had left to do and while she was grateful for that she felt a bit of panic at how much they were going to have to do in such a short amount of time. Luckily, Eris had agreed to be her maid of honor. If she had refused or declined for whatever reason Amara wasn't entirely certain what she would have done. She didn't have a backup plan for that like she did everything else and thinking of asking someone else - well asking someone else wasn't really an option.
Sighing as she pushed a stray strand of hair out of her eyes, Amara glanced at the clock that hung over the counter in the florist shop as she was leaving. Seeing the time she felt that a proper break was definitely called for and pocketing her list she made her way towards one of the small cafes that lined this particular part of Diagon Alley. Normally waiting in a line would have been something that Amara did not do but finding that she was hungrier than she had originally thought, she made an exception this one time and waited - albeit impatiently - ordering a small sandwich and a bowl of soup before turning to head towards a table at the front of the cafe.
Had she been paying more attention and not had her mind so focused on the tasks that she had yet to complete that day she might have noticed the girl standing behind her. As it was Amara's head was in the clouds and it was with a great deal more force then was necessary that she plowed right into the girl. Stumbling back Amara flung out an arm to keep herself from falling and offered the other girl a small smile.
"My apologies. I did not see you there. Are you alright?" Amara was nothing if not perfect with her manners. To be anything else would have earned her a hefty reprieve from her mother and that simply could not be allowed to happen. Merlin knew her mother had eyes and ears everywhere and the slightest slip up on Amara's part would have been reported back to her immediately.
