Benjy lifted his arm as best he could and put it around Alastair's shoulders as he leaned into him and let his cheek rest on the other man's hair. He still felt sluggish, so the temptation to go back to dozing was strong, but somewhere in there was also the need to take care of the man in his embrace, to give him exactly what he had given him the last time Alastair had been to a funeral. He just didn't really know what to say. He didn't know if there was anything to say. Alastair himself knew what to say in these situations, but Benjy wasn't like him that way. All he knew how to do was ask questions.
"Do you want something to eat?" The answer was probably no, which was why he hadn't asked if the man was hungry, but he also didn't know when the last time Alastair had eaten, and even if he wasn't feeling hungry, he would need something, even if it was just a sandwich.
