And Walburga Black was beyond pissed. The Ministry had not only come after her family but they had dragged her Regulus into their fight with her niece. It was bad enough that Regulus had died and she still had no idea as to how or why but now his memory was being tarnished and his name being used in a battle that he was not part of. To top it all off, they had been bold and ballsy enough to accuse her brother of having harmed Regulus. Cygnus was many things and the relationship between he and Walburga was not the best to say the least but her brother never would have harmed her son, let alone murdered him. It simply did not happen. There was an unspoken rule in the family and that was that one Black did not spill the blood of another Black, period. It didn't matter the situation, it simply wasn't done and the Ministry? Ministry thought they could laugh in the face of all of that and do as they damn well pleased.
They were about to find out just how big of a mistake they had made by trying to take her on though.
But first, she had to make it through this...whatever this thing with Sirius was. The first time they had met had been a complete fluke. The second she had been curious. Now? Now it could almost be said that they were perhaps trying to fix things between them if such a thing were even possible because why else would they spend time with each other like this? It didn't matter that he had things to tell her - enough she was greatly curious as to what he had to be so mysterious about - it only mattered that they were all that were left of their line, even if he had been disowned, and she wasn't about to let anything happen to him that she didn't approve of first.
Sighing in frustration she glanced at the clock once more, wondering where the hell he was. She had things to do and they did not include waiting around for him . She'd give him five more minutes then she was resetting the wards and heading to the Ministry to make herself heard and known.
