"A seer?" Daphne pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath. Well, Pansy was nothing if not sure of herself, though she couldn't help but wish her cousin had thought things through a little more. Or at least bounced the idea off of someone beforehand.
"You're not going to die." Daphne rolled her eyes. Were Ravenclaws always this dramatic? "At least in 1980. From what I remember of my readings, Cassius Lestrange wasn't known to fly off the handle. Unlike, say, his daughter-in-law. Of course, you happen across a number of falling rocks at the most inopportune time."
Daphne couldn't help but feel a swell of jealousy bubble up, which was ridiculous as she and Adrian had broken up well before this entire fiasco. She was risking the entire timeline for someone else entirely. But Adrian had been her first love and there was always going to be a part of her that held affection for him. Because of this, Daphne did not begrudge him for possibly finding comfort in another. Even if it was a blonde Ravenclaw.
"Have a backbone and don't let him walk all over you. But he's good at taking care of people, even though he doesn't always realize that its a two way street."
