ARRIVAL |
A Patronus appears before every member of the Order of the Phoenix with the time of their meeting along with instructions as to how to get there. Every member is given a different method of arrival. Some are told to go to the train station (Platform 9 ¾) and once there find the lemon drops and “help tidy them up'' acting as a portkey and bringing them to a set point where someone is waiting to take them into the meeting, others are given an apparition point where someone is waiting on them and others are given a flying point where they too are met and brought to the meeting. Once all members are inside the Godric’s Hollow safe house, they are able to speak with one another briefly as they await Albus Dumbledore to arrive. Upon his arrival, they all move into the meeting room of the small cottage (charmed big enough for the whole group) so that the meeting can begin. |
THE MEETING |
The first order of business, according to Dumbledore, is to congratulate the Aurors among them for their swift action and decisiveness that brought the Death Eaters to their knees in the most recent battle. There have not been a lot of victories lately and one was sorely needed. He asks those among them that are Aurors to continue being a guiding hand for the public and showing the masses that it is not only possible to stand up to the Death Eaters but to stand up against them and win. On the heels of that discussion and the congratulations given to the Aurors, Alastor Moody is asked then if he will spearhead a campaign Dumbledore wants to instill for any that need or desire training to protect themselves. Not everyone is trained to defeat a Death Eater and perhaps if people knew how they might. The third order of business brought up is information. Death Eaters have been closing ranks recently and information has been increasingly difficult to come by. Voldemort is planning something, something much worse than they know and he asks all members that are pure themselves to allow other Purists to try and ‘collect’ them. And, for those not pure but close enough to allow themselves to be collected as well. The more they can find out the better off they’ll be. The last order of business is a reminder to remain safe and not to put themselves in unnecessary danger if they can avoid it. Dumbledore then closes the meeting with several basic assignments to discover what they can and allows each member to choose a pureblood family to try and cozy up to if they can. As the meeting winds down he bids them a good evening and departs, allowing the others to do so as well one by one so as not to draw attention to themselves. |
